Drawn to West Lafayette by Purdue University, this young Australian loved the area and their new home but desired modern amenities. They wanted bathrooms that were modern, bright, spacious and comfortable. They also wanted an updated kitchen with a new functional layout. And, they required this project to be completed while they were away for the summer.
Riverside took to the task of transforming their living space from bland to grand. The master bathroom was reconfigured, borrowing space from the large master bedroom, to add much-needed closet space. The other two bathrooms were “pull and replace,” meaning that while the layout remained essentially the same, components were pulled out and replaced with higher quality items, such as the cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures.
An old brown tub and single sink were replaced with a large, walk-in glass shower and a more suitable double sink. The bright green wall was accented with elegant LED vanity mirrors, adding visual interest, form, and function. The hall bath and powder room were updated with the same cabinetry, mirrors and wall color to accomplish the same, modern look.
This West Lafayette couple came home from the summer to upgraded bathrooms that are stylish, fun, spacious and functional. Our clients thoroughly enjoy their new kitchen—a bright, modern, functional space that integrates with the rest of their home—with just the touch of elegance and sophistication they wanted.
