It’s the little things that our clients love the most about the newly remodeled kitchen in their Limberlost Lane, Lafayette home. Things like the island bar sink and kitchen island bar seating make it easy for them to entertain. For this couple, function trumps everything. They were living with their 1980s kitchen, but found it dark and closed off from the rest of the house. The outdated kitchen also didn’t suit the homeowners’ current style or taste.
With the help of Riverside Construction, they opened up the kitchen to create more efficient workspace, better traffic flow and improved lighting. Aesthetically, the space was upgraded with medium colored Hickory flooring, a honed travertine backsplash with Mosaic tile accents, an undermount Silgranite sink with Hawaii granite countertops, and full overlay cabinet doors in both dark and light colors.
