Remodeling Need

This Lafayette client came to Riverside Construction with the desire to update several areas of their home, including the primary bathroom, walk-in closet, and basement bar area. They also wanted to design and build a new wine cellar, redo their stairwell and add new flooring throughout much of their home.

Remodeling Solution

Primary Bath and Walk-In Closet

Riverside’s design team got to work bringing this non-descript primary bathroom into the 21st century. The corner shower was renovated using Milestone Breccia Silver 12×24 tile with Mapei silver grout. A four-shelf niche and corner bench were designed into the shower, along with a contemporary frosted hinge door. The built-in bathtub was replaced with a Signature Hardware Nassau Acrylic Soaking Freestanding tub and a Delta Venetian bronze tub filler.

Custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry by Crystal Cabinets was installed in the walk-in closet providing the homeowners with a spacious, organized space for their clothing and shoes.

Basement Bar

Riverside Construction replaced the basement bar top with a new Verde Peacock granite countertop from Brazil. A beautiful glass display cabinet was designed behind the bar area to display glassware and bottles.
