The homeowner of this West Lafayette home had an outdated kitchen that needed a new functional layout. They wanted an open kitchen that could be fit for entertaining, with plenty of room for friends and family to gather and socialize while they finished up cooking a meal.
With the importance of visually integrating the new kitchen into the existing space, Riverside Construction successfully blended form and function—designing the space to fit the functional needs of the homeowner while maximizing its size and including a large center island as a focal point.
Our clients wisely chose Venetian Gold Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a mosaic tile backsplash, along with medium hardwood floors, to add warmth and comfort to this traditional design. The traditional wall cabinets, and glass doors, were painted with a beautiful divinity color. To compliment these cabinets, a caramel stain was chosen on the Cherry wood island cabinets.
